A thick white T-shirt that takes center stage in layering.
This 9.4oz thick T-shirt is made from yarn specially developed from the legendary Sea Island type, Ultimate Pima (100% organic cotton). The yarn is spun into 20-count double yarn by the long-established Taisho Boseki company, creating a durable structure that resists skewing even after washing. Takagi Meriyasu in Osaka delicately knits it with skilled techniques, and Enkin in Gifu, a company founded 130 years ago, finishes it with Mino water. It offers a moist feel that clings to the skin and a silky luster. With slightly dropped shoulders, it's a relaxed adult size that can be worn casually on its own. Available in two colors: black and white, and five sizes: S to XXL.
Despite its 9.4oz thickness, it offers a "meltingly soft" comfort unique to extra-long staple cotton. It's opaque, so it looks great worn alone and serves as a main inner layer for shirts or jackets in spring and autumn. The neck ribbing is a newly developed, thick, soft, and stretch-resistant design, and the brand tag at the neckline is printed to prevent irritation. It's pre-washed to minimize shrinkage.
If mass-market T-shirts aren't enough, if you dislike stretched-out fabric, but also find thin summer styles unsuitable, and you want to express a casual adult look that's different from knitwear in spring and autumn temperatures of 15-25℃, where the T-shirt is the star – this product is the answer. It's thick yet not heavy, with a silky touch. A genuine material that develops a rich character the more you wear it.
Among the three T-shirts for different temperatures, this item plays the role of the "main layering piece." For adults who, as they age, prioritize "comfortable wear." We are committed to crafting products that will be with our customers for a lifetime.
About ounces (oz)
Ounce (oz) is a unit that expresses the weight of T-shirt fabric per square yard. A higher number indicates thicker, less sheer, and more durable fabric.
- Around 5oz: Smooth, light, thin fabric. Suitable for innerwear or summer.
- Around 7oz: Substantial thickness that looks good on its own.
- 9oz or more: Authentic heavyweight with a noticeable fabric presence.
This product is in the 9oz or higher class. It is a top-tier heavyweight that clearly conveys the fabric's weight and density.

Starting from yarn development, the long-established Taisho Boseki company spins 20-count double yarn. Takagi Meriyasu in Osaka delicately knits it with skilled techniques, and Enkin in Gifu, a company founded 130 years ago, finishes it with Mino water. The organic cotton used as raw material is exclusively Sea Island type Ultimate Pima harvested from the fields of the contract farm "Alpares Farm" (supervisor: DOSI ALVAREZ). This piece combines Japanese craftsmanship with the artisan skills from the origin in all processes: yarn, knitting, finishing, and raw materials.
