A 5oz T-shirt knitted from legendary Sea Island cotton with fine 40-count double yarn. This is a thinner version of our 9oz sibling product, optimized for "single wear in midsummer" by switching to a finer yarn of the same material. The yarn is spun by the long-established Taisho Boseki, delicately knitted by Takagi Meriyasu in Osaka, and finished with Mino water by the 130-year-old Enkin in Gifu. It's light and airy, yet retains the moist feel that clings to the skin and the silk-like luster. Since white would be transparent at 5oz, only black is available, in 5 sizes from S to XXL (2 systems: RELAX/SMART). The actual size measurements are the same as the 9oz and 7oz patterns, with identical finished dimensions.

Lightweight Sea Island cotton, perfect for wearing alone in midsummer temperatures of 25-35℃. Since it uses the same pattern as the 9oz, the fit is consistent. It's wrinkle-resistant and light, making it ideal for summer travel.
