They first started selling gold necklaces and other items around 2021,
when they were selling for around 6,000 yen per gram.
Even if they're selling the exact same item,
the price is four or five times higher.
A few years ago, it was 5,000 yen per gram, but

someone bought a 45cm 18k gold necklace.

It costs hundreds of thousands of yen to purchase just one necklace.
I purchase dozens of them every month,
but necklaces come in different lengths and as anklets,
and they're so expensive,
it feels like I'm going to be unable to purchase them any more.
It won't disappear anytime soon, but even if it does,
it won't be strange at all.

Someone who purchased a kihei bracelet said,
"I bought it this time because I thought it was the cheapest."
And that's exactly what they said!
If I were to sell a kihei bracelet now,
I think it would go for around ¥600,000
¥700,000.
As you said, it was cheap back then.

I honestly don't know what will happen with gold items.
The gold price
may continue to rise,
or it may fall.
I'm not sure about that,
so I'd be happy if it fell!
We have purchased some of the most recent shipments and placed orders,
but please understand that with the gold price rising to this level,
the retail price is also steadily increasing, and sales are also increasing every year.
The ring I'm wearing on my pinky finger is a Cartier Trinity ring.
My wife has one,
so I bought the same one, although it's a different size.
When my wife bought it,

but when I bought it last year, it had doubled to 240,000 yen.

there are separate factories that handle gold and
platinum.
Factories that handle platinum
say that they can't take that risk because it costs hundreds of thousands of yen to purchase just one piece.
Taking on that much risk wouldn't be cost-effective...
So I think platinum would be difficult.
