I went to the fabric exhibition held at Tokyo Big Sight!
This is an exhibition that is held twice a year,
in "Spring" and "Autumn", and will be held from the spring of 2024.
At that time,
I met the sewing factory that makes the "high-quality suede jackets" that I currently use!

It's hard to find a leather sewing factory
even in Osaka
I called several stores but couldn't find one
I wondered if it was that difficult
but I found one here!
I think a lot of people in the apparel industry are familiar with
"Fashion World Tokyo."
Here,
several people came up to me and said,
"I watch YouTube all the time."

When you look at it from above,
it seems like a lot,
but this is just a part of it
there are other floors too.

This is a leather sewing factory in Vietnam.
When I asked about the unit price,
it was less than half of what it was in Japan.
I don't make them, but I hear they do it for about a third of the price.

There's also a button shop.
There were also buttons made from crushed American coins,
but since I run a store called Japan Made,
I felt like it didn't really fit in...
I thought it was amazing,
but I passed on it.
The only wonderful thing I came across that made me want to introduce this is this
⇩ ⇩ ⇩

It's for companies,
"Fitting with AI"
For example,
Suede jacket from Japan Made
I know how it feels when I wear it, but I don't know how it feels when someone else wears it.
Just by taking product photos of the jacket, you can expand your horizons.
This is for women, but of course men can do it too!
Other than that, I draw pictures by hand first, but even if the drawings are poor, AI can turn the hand-drawn pictures into images.
The color of the T-shirt in this image Originally it wasn't this color
It's originally a grey color.
You can also remove the grey and add a different color.
The takeaway from this experience is that
the introduction of this kind of IT software
is a very good idea.
My case is a bit unique.
I design it myself,
I do the fitting myself,
I model myself.
It's a bit unique.
The company over there
"It will be easier for me since I'm doing it alone"
For example,
even if you want to make something like this,
it costs money to make a sample.
Once you've made a rough sketch,
you can put it into a machine and make it look like an AI model is wearing it.
You can also have royalty-free models wear the items,
so you can get a sense of what the final product will look like!
Of course, you can also make it 2cm shorter,
or 2cm shorter sleeves,
or 4cm shorter body width.
We want to cut unnecessary expenses in these areas and pass the savings on to our customers.
The story is moving forward now!
It's all done by AI,
so all you have to do is load the image

For example, if you want to make your shirt
a color similar to the red of a Land Cruiser,
you can take a photo of a Land Cruiser
and use the eyedropper function to insert it
and then you'll have the red of a Land Cruiser.
After all, if you like red Porsches take a picture of a red Porsche
If you put it here with the eyedropper function it will turn Porsche red.
Then, you can ask a sewing company or fabric store to make it in that color and they will make it for you.
This is a feature that was introduced last year,
so I think there are still areas that need improvement,
but as a Japan Made shop, I want to introduce it right away.
Japan Made is a small business,
so rather than spending unnecessary labor costs
we want to give back to our customers
I'd like to make use of this machine a lot!
